Puerto Princesa Underground River, with official name “Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park”, is globally recognized as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Also referred to as the Underground River Palawan, it has a limestone karst mountain landscape. The Underground River Cave is more than 24 km (15 mi) long and contains approximately 8.2 km (5.1 mi) long underground section of the Cabayugan River. The river is navigable by boat up to more or less 4.3 km (2.7 mi) in from the sea.
